Amalgamated plantations is a more than just being a tea garden , which promotes wide range of biodiversity that promotes wildlife ,wetland and promote the wellbeing of the workers and their community. It is a Tata enterprise previously known as Tata Tea .It has 24 tea estates in Assam and Bengal covering 24000 ha of land and along with this it also provide employment to more than 30,000 people. This tea plantation has emerged as second largest tea producer in India with tea ranging from CTC ,Orthodox, Green and Organic varieties. This plantation has an annual production of 42 million kilogram of tea. This plantation is also associated with many philantropic activities with the tea community of Assam and Bengal.
